Our Story
Somewhere along the way, Ayurveda was made convenient.
Formulas were shortened. Methods were quickened. The word on the label stayed classical, while the process behind it quietly changed. What reached the shelf was often a lighter echo of what the texts had actually prescribed.
We built Asli Aushadham for those who still want the original.
Aushadham means medicine. Not wellness, not a lifestyle — medicine, in the sense a vaidya would recognise. We chose the word deliberately, because it sets an expectation we intend to meet: that what we make can be measured against the classical texts and found faithful.
And asli means authentic. We took that name seriously enough to build everything around it.
In Ayurveda, the method is not separate from the medicine. It is the medicine.
So we keep the full formula, never a reduced one. We follow the classical preparation the source text lays out — the grinding, the bhavana, the slow work that a faster route would skip. Each Churna, Vati, Ghrita, Taila and Arishta is made the way its śāstra describes, because a shortcut in the making is a shortcut in the healing.
We come from Asli Ayurveda, founded by Mohit Sardana on a single conviction — that this science is a responsibility before it is a business.
Every formulation is made at our own ZED Gold–certified facility in Taraori, under our own eye. Nothing is outsourced to a process we cannot answer for. What the text promises and what reaches your hands are held to be the same thing.
We could have made this rare and dear. We chose the opposite.
A legacy that only a few can afford is a legacy already half-lost. So we keep the tradition intact, and we keep it within reach — because the next generation cannot inherit what it was priced out o
To make classical Ayurveda exactly as the texts prescribe it — in full, by method, with nothing left out for convenience — and to place it within reach of everyone who seeks the real thing.
That the generation now coming of age does not inherit a diluted Ayurveda, but the true one — and chooses it not out of nostalgia, but out of respect for what it is.
